The way it's meant to be played

For years I work with NVIDIA cards and this machine will be no difference, the latest models on the marked available right now are the GTX 580 and ASUS has overclocked models of these as the ENGTX580 DCII/2DIS/1536MD5 with up to 50% faster clock speed and enhanced thermal environment. Right what we need for a good tuning and to set a top benchmark.

Why these:
- Latest NVIDIA model
- GDDR5, 1536 MB, 4008 MHz, 384 bit
- 600% more airflow, 35°C cooler operation
- 15% performance boost
- Factory overclocked to perform at 782MHz
- DirectX 11

As I wanted to make another SLI configuration I needed two identical ones, so lets see what's inside the boxes.

Inside you find a manual and driver cd, SLI bridge, connector, and a power splitter cable and of course the card itself.

The cards are 110 x 40 x 268 mm each. And come with twin 100mm fans, and fully copper inner cooling pipes and heat sinks.

Be advised this DirectCU II cooling system uses three slots a card each, so a total of six slots are needed on the computer case only for the video cards! Taking in mind a normal system has only seven slots available.

The supported power comes from two 8-pin PCI-E power cables for each card, so you get a more stable power flow, here too you need 4x a 8-pin PCI-E power cable to give the power needed for both cards.

Enough of the tech talk, comming up is the installation part!
